You do not have to join a game already in progress. Here are two easy ways to connect to our servers.

A: The easiest way to do this is to join our HKCentral steam group and then you can see it when you start the game. There is a list of Group servers that scrolls on the right and you can either double click on the heading or you can click on start a campaign and select Join a Steam Group. When the list comes up, double click on the server you want to join and you are in. From there you can call a vote to change the campaign to whatever setting you want. Of course, if there are people already on the server you either have to wait or you need to find another server.

B: Another way you can do this is to bind a key in your autoexec.cfg. For example, if you wanted to bind it to F8, you would enter the following line into your config:



The lobby leader would press F8 while in the lobby when everyone is ready and it will search both servers for availability.

Also you should be able to bind that to a key from the console

Just a quick heads up, as far as I know it's not possible to open the console from the lobby anymore, but it should still work if you put it in a bind, or enter it before creating the lobby.

Good point. You actually do not have to open the developers console if the force command is bound to a key. I personally just join the server and make the changes by voting, but I will test this tonight and update the instructions.
